Steven completed his Bachelor of Kinesiology (with distinction) in 2013 from the University of Calgary. After gaining valuable experience as a Physiotherapy Assistant, Steven went on to receive his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta in 2016. Steven believes that success in injury recovery begins with a solid therapeutic relationship, something he aims to achieve early on in the treatment of every patient. He centers his treatment sessions around reciprocal communication and proper education as a means to build a lasting partnership in order to enhance recovery. Steven is a newer graduate who aims to share the latest evidence-based treatment techniques. He brings an open mind to physical therapy and is always searching for the most compatible rehab techniques for his patients. He firmly believes in continuing education in order to offer his patients the most well-rounded care. He is certified in Functional Dry Needling and has completed Level 1 of the CPA’s Orthopedic Division Manual Therapy course. While he enjoys a multitude of sports, his background revolves around hockey and golf, both of which he continues to play on a regular basis. In his spare time, Steven enjoys exercising, travelling, playing with his children, and watching sports.
